Shekel Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 1, 2026 Last Updated: June 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Shekel Labs LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Shekel," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the website at shekel.xyz and the Shekel applications and services (the "Service"). It is incorporated into and part of our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.
We are the controller responsible for your information in connection with the Service. Note that the Service is non-custodial: we do not hold your funds or private keys, and we do not collect your seed phrase, private keys, or passwords. Never share your private keys or seed phrase with us or anyone.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Wallet and on-chain information. Your public wallet address and publicly available on-chain activity associated with it. We do not collect or have access to your private keys or seed phrase.
- Phone number. If you choose to participate in phone verification (for example, to receive a verification bonus), we collect your phone number to send and verify a one-time code.
- Usage and trading logs. Records of how you use the Service, including Agent configurations, Agent runs, backtests, paper and live activity logs, orders and outcomes surfaced through the Service, feature usage, timestamps, and credit consumption.
- Chat content. The prompts, messages, and inputs you submit to the AI chat or to your Agents, and the responses generated.
- Technical and device information. IP address, browser and device type, operating system, identifiers, and diagnostic and log data.
- Cookies and session data. As described in Section 6.
- Payment-related information. When you purchase Credits, payment is processed by a third-party processor; we receive limited transaction confirmation data but do not collect or store full card numbers.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information beyond what is described here, and we do not require government identity documents unless legally compelled to verify eligibility or sanctions status.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service, including running Agents, backtests, and the AI chat;
- Process Credits and verify phone numbers and bonuses;
- Personalize and improve the Service, develop new features, and debug and troubleshoot;
- Monitor for, prevent, investigate, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms;
- Comply with legal obligations, including sanctions screening and lawful requests; and
- Communicate with you about the Service, including service and security notices.
We may create and use aggregated and de-identified data, which does not identify you, for any lawful purpose, including analytics and improving our models and Service.
3. How We Share Information — Service Providers
We share information with third-party processors and infrastructure providers that perform services for us, under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations and only as needed to provide the Service. These include:
- Venice / LLM provider(s) — to generate AI chat responses and power Agent reasoning (receives prompts and relevant context);
- Render — application hosting and compute;
- Neon — database hosting (PostgreSQL);
- Cloudflare (including R2 storage) — content delivery, DNS, security, and object storage;
- Twilio — phone verification messaging;
- Coinglass — market data; and
- Payment processor(s) — to process Credit purchases.
We may also share information: (a) with Hyperliquid, blockchain networks, and wallet providers as inherent to non-custodial, on-chain activity you initiate (note that on-chain transactions are public); (b) to comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service; and (c) in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
4. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing.
5. Legal Bases for Processing
Where required by applicable law (for example, in the EEA or UK), we process personal data on the bases of: performance of our contract with you (providing the Service); our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service, preventing abuse); compliance with legal obligations; and your consent where applicable (for example, certain cookies or phone verification). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
6. Cookies and Session Data
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service (for example, to maintain your session and authentication state) and to understand usage and improve performance. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings or any cookie controls we provide; disabling strictly necessary cookies may impair the Service.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and context. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Note that on-chain data and public blockchain records are outside our control and cannot be deleted by us.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
To make a request, including a deletion request, contact us at privacy@shekel.xyz. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity (for example, by verifying control of your wallet address) before fulfilling a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If you are unsatisfied, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your wallet, keys, and credentials. Notify us promptly at privacy@shekel.xyz if you believe your information or account has been compromised.
10. International Transfers
We and our providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact privacy@shekel.xyz.
12. Third-Party Services
The Service links to or interacts with third-party services (including Hyperliquid, wallet providers, and those listed in Section 3) that have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for their practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
